Research Interests

Dr. Perry is a Senior Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute, CA, USA. His research interests include structural biochemistry studies into macromolecules maintaining genomic stability, repairing damaged DNA and preventing oxidative damage. These molecular mechanisms are critical to the cell in providing protection against cancer and rapid aging. Dr Perry conducted his post-doctoral research in structural biochemistry at both Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and as a visiting scholar at The Scripps Research Institute, USA.
