Admission 2008 for Undergraduate programmes continues:
- Application forms for both M. Sc. and B. Sc. programmes for the academic year 2008-09 are available from the School or can be downloaded from below.

Downloaded application must be submitted to following address along with a DD for Rs. 500 drawn in favour of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Programmes offered
B. Sc. Biotechnology/ Microbiology : Three years (6 semesters)
Eligibility: A pass in higher secondary examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Biology, Physics and Chemistry from any State Board, CBSE or equivalent.
M. Sc. Bioinformatics: Two years (4 semesters)
Eligibility: Graduate degree in any discipline of science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Background in Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred.
M. Sc. Biotechnology: Two years (4 semesters)
Eligibility: Graduate degree in any discipline of science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Background in Biology is preferred.
Ph. D.
Ph.D. Biotechnology:
Essential Qualifications: Candidate must have qualified the CSIR/UGC NET for JRF.
Eligibility: Post Graduation in any discipline of Science, or Graduation or Post Graduation in Engineering or Medicine. Background in Biology is preferred.
Selection Procedure:
Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination followed by a personal interview. In addition, there will be an entrance examination for the M. Sc. Biotechnology programme.
The procedure is subject to change, to comply with the guidelines from UGC/other competent authorities.
